Job Description:
We are currently seeking a candidate who enjoys being outdoors and providing essential public health services as a Tick and Mosquito TechnicianThe ideal candidate should have a passion for environmental health and be willing to obtain their state pesticide licenses if they do not already possess themThis position offers the opportunity for career advancement to year-round employment by transitioning to an Integrated Pest Management TechnicianAll positions throughout New England are available.
Responsibilities:
Comfortably work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Lift and carry a 50-pound backpack sprayer for multiple hours a day.
Communicate effectively with customers, office staff, coworkers, and management about services performed.
Apply pesticides to areas of harborage following all label instructions and complying with state laws and safety procedures.
Learn about mosquito and tick biology to effectively control populations.

Strong communication skills.
